Pokémon Sun and Moon Variant and Mystery Gift

The new main series Pokémon game is due out in November and the Nintendo Direct gave us some new info regarding the game. The first being the Alolan Rattata:

Alolan Rattata

This Rattata is a nocturnal version of Rattata that is now also a dark type. The new variant Pokémon are exciting because we are now getting a more scientifically accurate use of evolution in Pokémon. The explanation is that Rattata once flooded Alola but once Yungoose was introduced to cut down their numbers, Rattata turned nocturnal in order to avoid being hunted down during the day.

I hope you’re hungry because the next portion covered Z-Moves and the first mystery gift Pokémon coming to Sun and Moon. That’s right, for anybody who purchases Pokémon Sun and Moon within the first 2 months, you’ll be able to download a Munchlax equipped with its own special Z-Move: Pulverizing Pancake.

Pokémon Sun and Moon will arrive in stores and the 3DS eShop on November 18th. For any more information on the games visit the official Pokémon Website.
